Miss Taylor lives in Salem, NJ and studied dance here at Stage Lights for 17 years. After her high school graduation, she attended the University of Arts in Philadelphia. She will be graduating in 2012 with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in modern dance. All throughout high school, she was very active in her school dance ensemble. Since Miss Taylor was 8, she has been competing individually in dance competitions and in groups, where she has earned numerous awards and received platinum almost every time. She has garnered "Title" at Ticket to Broadway twice. Tamoya has also traveled with our competition team across the country to perform at various venues in Las Vegas, New York and Virginia Beach. She has also performed on-board the Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Lines. Here at Stage Lights, Tamoya has received much praise for her roles as "Zurg" in Toy Story, "Scarecrow" in the Wizard of Oz, "Russian" in The Nutcracker, and "Mike Teavee" in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. She has choreographed for music videos and plans on continuing for other artists. After college Tamoya desires to pursue a career in the dance field either in a major company or in videos. She loves interacting here with students and is very excited to be teaching.
