Sarah Janus grew up in Middletown, DE where she began her extensive dance and musical theatre training.  She has been dancing at Stage Lights Dance Studio since the age 10 studying multiple styles such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop and modern.   Sarah is a History Major at the University of Delaware with minors in Dance, Theatre Production and Educational Studies.  Sarah is involved in many programs working to spread the arts throughout the state of DE .  She is an active member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO), teaches for an arts integration undergraduate research program and the university entitled ArtsBridge America, serves on the board for the Resident Student Organization the Harrington Theatre Arts Company (HTAC) where she has also choreographed and performed in several shows for/with fellow college students.  Sarah also works for the Appoquinimink School District choreographing for several musicals within the district.  Past stage credits include, Cinderella, Kiss Me Kate, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Bells are Ringing, Copacabana, and Footloose. Past Choreography credits include: White Christmas, High School Musical, High School Musical 2, Annie, Beauty and the Beast, Hairspray, and Rent. Sarah is passionate about the arts and hopes to spread her love of dance and performance to her students!
