Betsy Conner is a graduate of Lincoln University with a BA in Music Education with a piano  concentration and vocal minor. She has taught music in the Unionville Chadds Ford Schools as well as the Red Clay School district and has privately been teaching  and coaching piano and voice for over twenty five years. She studied piano with John Young at Lincoln University and Robert Goldsand at the Manhattan School of Music. Betsy worked for over 20 years for Weber Prianti at Three Little Bakers as Production Stage Manager and Musical Director for many of the shows.  She has also been Musical Director and accompanist for various community theatres as well as productions at Delcastle High School, Concord High School, Salesianum, the Wilmington Drama League, West Chester University and the University of Michigan. Betsy toured for seven years with the Broadway national touring companies of The Scarlet Pimpernel, BLAST, Jesus Christ Superstar, Peter Pan starring Cathy Rigby and On Golden Pond starring Tom Bosley and Michael Learned.  She is happy to join the Stage Lights staff and share her love of music.

Sarah Kim Vennard

Mrs. Sarah Kim Vennard was born in Seoul, South Korea and grew up in upstate New York. She began dancing at the Isabelle School of Dance at a very young age and continued her studies by attending conventions and master classes with the NYS Dance Alliance. Ballet was her focus at the Albany Dance Institute under David Otto. Sarah Kim studied at the New York State Summer School of the Arts for Modern Dance

under various masters such as Carolyn Adams, Ruth Andrien, and Danny Grossman and performed works by David Parsons, Lila York, and Paul Taylor. She continued her study of modern dance at the University of the Arts and has taught at several of the schools at which she was educated. Her stage experience includes performances with the Berskshire Ballet, RPI Dance Ensemble, EBA Dance Company, and the Penn Dance Company. She has also appeared in such musicals as A Chorus Line, Sweet Charity, Cinderella, and Where’s Julie as well as several independent film projects. She enjoys sharing her love of dance with aspiring performers and hopes to bring strength of technique and inspiration to the dancers of Stage Lights.

Jon Kennette

A Native of Southern California, Jon Kennette first became involved with dance at the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts (Diploma C/O 2000). At the age of 17, Jon migrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to attend the University of the Arts on a partial Scholarship. Receiving his BFA in Modern dance Performance/Ballet Education (2004), Jon had the luxury of working under astounding dance specialists such as Ruth Andrien (Taylor), Gabe Masson (Limon), Scott Jovovich (Contemporary Ballet/Fosse) and Lavaughn Robinson (Tap) to name a few. Shortly after graduation Jon spent nine months at sea on the Disney wonder Cruise playing unforgotten roles. Jons’ show credits include The Nutcracker, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Crazy For You, Pippin, and Carmina Burana. Freelancing, Jon has been a part of Jose Limons’ “A Choreographic Offering” , “Fosse: a Review”, MOMIX (sponsored by Mercedes-Benz), and countless dance performance gigs by local Philadelphian artists. Company credits include JUNK (Dir. Brian Sanders), CelticFusion, Inverness, Scotland (Dir. Liam Harney), and Koresh, USA/S.Korea (Dir. Ronen Koresh). Jon also Co-Created and starred in a two-man dance cabaret entitled “Beware of Flying Objects.” “Mr. Jon” is thrilled to be apart of Stagelight. He is extremely dedicated to the ‘art’ of knowledge, and hopes to instill confidence, personal growth, kinesthetic/mental awareness, and love for life through ‘The Dance!’

Kim Schroeder

An Iowa native, Kimberly Schroeder moved to Delaware a year ago after completing a 12 month tour of the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and Canada with the Missoula Children’s Theatre. Kimberly was the Director of Dance at the YWCA Dance Academy in Lincoln, Nebraska, while completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in dance and vocal music at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She has been a part of many dance, musical, and opera productions affiliated with UNL including The Bohemian Girl (performance in Ireland), Fiddler on the Roof, La Boheme, Yeoman of the Guard, and Amahl and the Night Visitors. One of her favorite performances was in Carnegie

Hall with the University Singers. Some of her most recent performances are with the First State Children’s Theatre in A Year with Frog and Toad, My Way A Tribute to Frank Sinatra and Broadway Fever at Three Little Bakers, and the role of Anytime Annie in 42nd Street at the New Candlelight Dinner Theatre.

Tim Moudy

Tim has been a musical theater performer for more then 26 years he started performing at the age of 9 locally then  went on to tour nationally with the "Wizard OF Oz" (Winwood Productions) as the Scarecrow, and 42nd Street (DoubleDay Productions). Tim has performed at many theaters up and down the east coast. But for the past several years has been enjoying performing at The Three Little Bakers Dinner Theater in Wilmington (DE). other theater credits include Dutch Apple Dinner Theater (PA), Broadway Palm Dinner Theater(FL), Candle Light Dinner Theater, Media theater(PA). The Royal Palm Dinner Theater(FL)Naples Dinner Theater (FL), The Evergreen Theater (NJ) Surflight Theater (NJ) He started dance training (tap) at the age of 19 with Anna Marie and Sonny Leo  and within the year was tapping up a storm in theaters up and down the east coast He has been taught by, and performed with some of the most  prominent dancers in the biz.

Andre' Dion Wills

Andre' holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts/Performance from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Andre' began singing at an early age and studied voice from that age until after college. Music has always been an integral part of his life as he also plays piano, saxophone, and percussion. He has been performing at The Three Little Bakers Dinner Theatre for over 12 years and is happy to back teaching Voice after a hiatus from teaching. Andre's teaching experience goes back some years to Director of Theatre at Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania where he directed the Spring Musicals and had numerous vocal students in which some have gone on to careers in the Music & Entertainment Industries. Along with teaching and performing, Andre' is also a songwriter/producer working out of his own studio, Capricorn Studios and his production company JBST Productions, Inc./Lyrical Records. Andre' is very dedicated to the performing arts in all aspects and is proud to be teaching here at Stagelights dance studio. Andre' resides in Elsmere with his wife Laura and their daughter Lyric.

Tamoya

Tamoya Taylor

Miss Taylor lives in Salem, NJ and has been studying Dance here at Stage Lights for 15 years. After graduation, she plans to attend the University of Arts in Philadelphia and major in Dance. She is also very active in her school dance ensemble. Since Miss Taylor was 8, she has been competing individually in dance competitions and in groups, where she has earned numerous awards and received platinum almost every time. She has garnered "Title" at Ticket to Broadway twice. Tamoya has also traveled with our competition team across the country to perform at various venues in Las Vegas, New York and Virginia Beach. She has also performed on-board the Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Lines. Here at Stage Lights, Tamoya has received much praise for her roles as "Zurg" in Toy Story, "Scarecrow" in the Wizard of Oz, "Russian" in The Nutcracker, and "Mike Teavee" in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. After college Tamoya desires to pursue a career in the Video Choreography field. She is very excited to be teaching here and can't wait for the fun to begin.

Brenda Rivera, a native of New York City first discovered the art of Afro-Caribbean Dance as a young girl on the island of Puerto Rico.  She was immediately captivated by the eclectic fusion of African-derived rhythmic sounds and body movements that interpreted the life and culture of the Caribbean.  She continued her training of folkloric dance in New York City studying the Afro-Puerto Rican dance of “Bomba/Plena” with local dance tropes including the “Pleneros De La 21”.  As a young adult she continued her tutelage under the Djoniba Dance and Drum Center” and  “The Ailey Extension” where she branched out and added Afro-Cuban, Afro-Brazilian, and Samba to her repertoire.  Today as a resident of Delaware, Brenda continues to share her love of folkloric dance with the community.  She currently serves as a committee member of the Delaware Hispanic Festival and is the main choreographer for the Miss Hispanic of Delaware Pageant.   She has also completed her first year of teaching with Stage Lights Dance Studio where the Afro/Caribbean dance participated in their first recital showcase!

Vince Comegys-Davis

Vince Comegys-Davis was born and raised in Delaware.  He has been involved in dance and theater since 1999, with roles in such plays as The Wiz, Oedipus Rex, Anything Goes and Suessical.  Vince is also a certified stunt man and is now choreographing a fight sequence for an indie film.  In 2002, he graduated from Christiana High School and attended Clark Atlanta University.  While in college Vince was apart of the step team for two years and during that time was apart of a dance crew with whom he has been in many battles (competitions between crews).  In August 2003 he went to California to audition for a stunt role and was introduced to Krump and has been doing it ever since.  He has just started the formal training of ballet and tap, etc. in December at Stage Lights,  Vince is excited to have been given the opportunity to teach at Stage Lights and really hopes to pass on the art of "street dancing."

Sarah Janus

Sarah is no stranger to performing.  Sarah first started performing at age 9 and immediately fell in love with the stage.  She began as a member of a musical theatre camp at the Everett Theatre.  She soon realized that her favorite aspect of theatre was dancing and began to take her dance training to a new level.   Sarah has been a member of the Stage Lights Dance Theatre for 4 years.  Sarah has also been involved in musicals in school, directed by the much sought after instructor Voni Perrine.  Sarah’s stage productions include “Kiss Me Kate”, “Thoroughly Modern Millie”, “The Bells are Ringing”, “Flapper”, and “Cinderella”.  Sarah has been able to perform in many exciting places including Lincoln Center in NYC and on a Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship.  Sarah has also choreographed for local schools, most recently for the show “High School Musical.”  Sarah thoroughly enjoys the process behind the scenes and looks forward to choreographing more shows in her career.  Her roles in studio productions include Uncle Henry in “Oz Fantasy”, Augustus in “Willy Wonka’s Golden Ticket Adventure”, and Ariel in “The Adventures of Ariel.”  Sarah is so excited to be teaching at Stage Lights and hopes to instill confidence through dancing. 

Vicky

Vicky Todd-Saunders

Miss Vicky Todd - Saunders has been a Professional Singer, Dancer and Actress for more than 28 years. She began her career at age nine, modeling in New Jersey where she was discovered by a New York Agent. From there, she went on to star in the Broadway National Touring Company of ANNIE, which she toured for a year. This experience opened her career to the world of show business. She later toured as “Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz”. Vicky has performed across the country and in Canada, working in all venues. She has had the privilege of working with many great directors, such as Martin Charnin (Annie, Baby), John G Avildsen (Rocky) and Dennis Edenfield (A Chorus Line). She has worked for CBS, ABC, Warner Bros and MGM/UA. She had the privilege working side by side with Sylvester Stallone on Rocky V. Vicky has been the opening act as a singer and dancer for Broadway star Andrea McArdle and Legend Al Martino. Vicky has played numerous leading roles, and has starred in over a hundred productions, but her favorite roles to date are “Maria” in Sound Of Music, “Kathy” in Singing in the Rain, and “Susan” in BIG. Vicky has been seen on “Guiding Light”, ABC’s After-School Special “All That Glitters” and several commercials. She has been in numerous radio commercials for such products as Johnson & Johnson, Rowan College and Pennsylvania Ballet, to name a few. She has been a Coordinator, Director, Choreographer and Performer of Live Industrials for major companies, such as Porsche, Comcast, PNC Bank, Dover Downs and EXXON. She has choreographed over 20 productions; one of each is being presented to THE WHITE HOUSE by friend and New Jersey Congressman Rob Andrews. (It is a tribute to Music through the decades called American Anthem). She has had the honor of performing at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and The Pantages Theater in Los Angeles. In addition to all the above, Vicky serves as Director for Special Events for Weber-Prianti Productions, which she is in charge of Choreographing, Directing and Casting for major Companies in the Tri-State Area. As a Singer Dancer and Actress, she has studied with many exceptional people, Anna Marie Leo, the late Russell Faith, Toni Brodski, Nationally known dance instructor Frank Hatchett, Mari Lyn Henry, Saskia Van Oot and Pat Jordan. After working in New York, in several theatrical venues, she joined a dance troupe in Philadelphia. This new venture opened the door to choreographing for Bally’s Hotel and Casino New Year’s Eve Gala, Sesame Places new exhibit opening and The Opening Gala for The Variety Club Telethon. Locally, she is a familiar face at Three Little Bakers Dinner Theater, where she has performed and choreographed numerous productions. Vicky's choreography has also been seen on the stages of Archmere Academy, Tower Hill School, and most recently on the stage at The Baby Grand in Wilmington. Vicky is a proud member of Actors Equity Association and Screen Actors Guild.

Danielle

Danielle Smith

Mrs. Danielle Smith has been performing since she was 4 years old. Her dance training began in her hometown of   NJ.  She continued her dance training as a member of the performing dance troupe at the award winning Jazz Unlimited  Dance Studio. Danielle has competed in many competitions and taken home numerous awards, including New Jersey State Jazz Soloist Champion.  After graduating high school, Danielle moved to Delaware to attend Wilmington University, where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Management.   In Delaware, Danielle turned her attention to teaching dance while continuing her education and starting a family.  Miss Danielle has performed in many local venues, including Three Little Bakers and Candlelight Dinner Theaters. Here, is where she found a greater love than just dancing, and added singing and acting to her talents. Her professional show credits include Chicago, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoats, South Pacific, A Chorus Line, Pippin, Footloose, Jekyll & Hyde, The Goodbye Girl, A Broadway Christmas, Home for the Holidays, & American Anthem. Other memorable performances include singing performances on Carnival Cruise Lines,  and the 9/11 benefit in NYC at the Lincoln Center.  Danielle’s acting credits include live industrials for many major corporations, to include Porsche, Comcast, PNC Bank and Exxon.  Miss Danielle loves teaching and has 18 years of teaching experience   Her love for performing and nurturing others' love for performing is evident in all her classes. As Director she is sure to inspire students to reach for the stars!
